Dear Friends,
I am delighted to be in position now to communicate with you. I got information from our Chief
Medical Officer, Dr.Dennis Marke that the Sierra Leone Community Association of Chicago made
a donation of
five(5) barrells and five(5) computers to the UMC General Hospital, Kissy, Freetown.

I wish to seize this opportunity to express my unreserved thanks and appreciation to you all for
this Kind gesture of yours. The content of the five barrels were distributed among our people
who needed them most at the time. They expressed great appreciation for the gesture.

Indeed, you are one of the principal organizations in the diaspora who has made this gesture to
the Hospital. We shall always remember your kindness to
us and to our people.

Please convey to our friends that their efforts and more especially those who made the
contributions were very highly appreciated by me.

It is my hope and prayer that the Lord will continue to keep you together and to serve humanity
in your own little way.

Once again on my own behalf and on behalf of the Sierra Leone Annual Conference of the United
Methodist Church I wish to say thank you for this effort. May God continue to bless and uphold all
you undertake to do in that part of the globe.

Best regards,

Joseph C. Humper

Resident Bishop
