The Sierra Leone Community Association of Chicago (SLCAC) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt
not-for-profit organization, incorporated in the State of Illinois for the purpose of providing
charitable and educational services to Sierra Leonean immigrants and refugees.
The SLCAC strengthens the vitality of our community by organizing various programs and
services such as immigration and citizenship education, career counseling, resume writing and
job search, resource connection and legal referrals, as well as programs geared toward the
youth and the elderly.
